Peeling Oranges Across the Couch

Is a figure I can’t make out

Now I’m trying to stand on my feet

But it’s shaking the floor beneath

And this splinters changing color

Staying quiet be no bother

It’s not like you care or maybe you do

This distances still there

And this winters getting colder

Thought I felt it inching closer

This pacing will strain

The ice will all melt

And nothing will change

Nobody heard me, as I was screaming

Out of the window, as it was leaving

Thought I’d shake this feeling

Figures gone thought I woke up

Nothings changed I still off

But I won’t ever know
