Well, when she got the grade, she took her first real breath

As a person without a single damn care left

Put a note in her phone in double bold and read:

“Everything that I need is somewhere straight ahead”

Soon when the fuse was lit, she tied a few loose ends

Certain people she loved and just a few fake friends

On the morning she left, she left a text on read

Two years to the day, she had it all worked out

Wrote a couple of novels people wrote about

Captivated the strangers at the bars uptown

Thinking “nobody here could ever slow me down

And when the thought occurred, she bought the house she earned

She started looking into venues for July the third

She wants a west coast wedding with a mind like hers

Before she puts a reminder in her phone

To remind her that she knows

When she saw the movie all about her life

Well, she noticed some things they didn't get quite right
