I daydream the day away

Then wake up it’s half passed three

Well I guess I’ve got tomorrow

I can’t help it I get lost

In this world where everyone

Seems to drive their cars and mow their lawns

And take the kids to school

Well that’s fine by me

Side the window where the rain is fallin’

Birds are callin’ this world keeps on turnin’ turnin’

Things don’t seem to be okay

You log on see everything

Everyone’s successes, pity parties, sought attention

Is this normal? Is this right?

Is your life meant to stream live?

Out for all to see. Your family, strangers

If only we could see

There’s a level of irrational jealousy

All the screens and tablets, readin’ things when never knowin’

Here we are stuck in our echo chambers full of secrets
