Rain soaks over every apology note that you send to me

Cobwebs over nails in a coffin and 

Trees I’ll stop barking up 

It’s sad because I wanted you to know

I was scared that I could never learn to grow

Chain broke, and I’m running at bullet speed

Passing your energy

Brush strokes over every mistake I make

I will not hesitate

Cold beds, I wonder if I will return

Sheets that I’ll have to burn
