Waiting patiently

For the rain to start falling

So I can go without chasing

After nothing

Maybe I've gone too long not knowing

Maybe I forget what I've forgotten

Maybe I am still right there alongside you

Counting syllables in your room

While time hides in the mirror

I feel the moment's pleasure

At my memory's failure

I want to step inside to know a wound

I want to write a river to be found in blue

I remember dancing, moving further away
