politicians bought up like commodities

justice is as likely as a nuclear freeze

culture... shock!

the situation u.s. culture teaches not to care

don't worry be happy, so we stay unaware

it's business as usual, that's how we carry on

this attitude creates the atmosphere for corruption

to exist it's ignorance bliss, fight the power is left to

the will of the strong

carefree! yet a world of needs right outside

your back door, it's a situation where there's more

than enough, yet simple needs many can't afford,

like food, water, housing, yes the common needs,

it's a problem you turn away, close your eyes,

pretend it's not taking place

understand, your security, just gets in the way

and your conditioning, makes you turn away it's

a bad situation you would rather just ignore, so
