Shelter from the Storm

Up she came, fiddling with the wind

And her hair was tangled up in flowers

Barefoot laugh, pacing on my sins

Lightening every corner of my hide

Let your ghosts meet mine

They will get along

Let 'em take the fights

Lay my body down in the open fields

Pour away your pain on me

Tonight I'll be your shelter from the storm

There she was, twirling gracefully

Smiled out of the blues to sing my sorrows

Soon she was, trembling next to me

Whispering ambers right out of my dust
