I’ve been lied to ,taken advantage of stole from

I’ve been broke down looked over slept on and mistreated

Stared death in the eyes talked about pray to God

When It felt like God didn’t answer my prayers

Seen people die in front of my eyes look down the barrel of an assault rifle

I’ve had my heart broken spirit broken

I’ve doubted myself and wanted to quit life

I gave people my last that, I knew I wouldn't receive a dime back from

I’ve been through this to get you through this very moment

To get you to this present time, to get you past your own scars, your own wounds

And your own fears

This is a reminder to you fear don't control me
