The hum and rattle of a thousand lonely days

We stand before the fire until we burn away

Twisted skeletons, a frame to hold the lie

Beside your mind, right between the eyes

You run for cover, but none can be found

You rise up from the mire and vanish without a sound

This isolation became to much to ignore

From the highest heights down to the floor

But for the all of the lies, pale auburn eyes

See the smoke through the haze

We stand before light fades into night

All is consumed by the flames
