Give up, quit, that’s not me

I don’t know what those words mean

I’m an achiever a believer

Hard work will take you where you want to be

I keep a lot of irons in the fire that is true

But believe me when I tell ya

I won’t stop until the job is through

But sometimes it feels like I’m juggling, struggling

Pieces of sand slipping through my hand

I can’t keep a good grip

On anything

I might be failing but here’s what I’m saying

Growing up my family never had much

But I can’t let that hold me down

I keep on climbing reaching

Pick myself up when I fall on to the ground

I’m too stubborn to do anything but succeed

I’ve got too much pride to settle for less than my dreams
