Lyrics

Ah, get it on
All right
Yeah
We're goin' up
(Oh, yeah)
We're goin' down
(Oh, you goin' down)
We're goin' up, down, down, up
Any way you wanna let it roll
(Aw, take it that way)
Yeah, yeah, yeah
You got me doin' what you want me
Now baby, what do you want me to do?
(Oh, yeah)
You got me peepin', you got me hidin'
You got me peep, hide, hide, peep
Any way you wanna let it roll
Yeah, yeah, yeah
You got me doin' what you want me
Baby, what do you want me to do?
(Yeah)
We're goin' up, we're goin' down
We're goin' up, down, down, up
Any way you wanna let it roll
Yeah, yeah, yeah
You got me doin' what you want me
Now baby, what do you want me to do?
(One more time)
You got me peepin', you got me hidin'
You got me peep, hide, hide, peep
Any way you wanna let it roll
Yeah, yeah, yeah
You got me doin' what you want me
Now baby, what do you want me to do?
(Aw, walk it on up)
Walkin' it on up, baby
(Bring it on up)
We're goin' up, we're goin' down
We're goin' up, down, down, up
Any way you wanna let it roll
Yeah, yeah, yeah
You got me doin' what you want me
Now baby, what do you want me to do?
Aw, yeah
All right, I'll tell ya
Uh, give me that piece of paper, man
See what I'm supposed to do next here
(No fair lookin' at the script)
Says here, "Elvis will talk about first record"
(A little late)
A little late, all right
"And how things started happenin' after that"
Uh
(Tell me, Elvis, what did happen after that?)
Didn't say that, wait a minute, wait a minute
"Elvis will talk about shooting from the waist down
And not being able to touch hands with body or body with hands"
Just got this show off the air, boy, I'll tell ya
(Don't take off you to get all that)
Uh, "Talk about Chrima song"
(Chrima)
Chrima, Christmas song, okay
(That's southern)
Anyway, yeah, that's southern for "Christmas"
Chrima
Uh, I'd like to talk a little bit about music
Very little
Uh, there's been a big change in the music field in the last 10 or 12 years
You like that, huh?
(They hadn't learned it yet)
(That's the reason I retired it)
Uh, and, and I think everything's improved
The sounds have improved and uh, the musician's have improved
The engineers have certainly improved
Uh, I like a lot of the new groups, you know
The Beatles and The Beards and the, whoever
But, I really like a lot of the new music
But, a lot of it is basically
Our music is basically
Rock and roll music is basically gospel or rhythm and blues
And, it, alright, it sprang from that
And, it's, people have been adding to it
Adding instruments to it, experimenting with it
But, it, uh, it all boils down to just, uh
I don't know what I'm talking about really, you know?
I'm just mumbling, man, mumbling
They told me to talk, so I'm talkin'
