Her (Killing Eve)

There were no candles lit.

The room was dark as night,

Just like the corners of my mind.

I — gave my heart to her

She — has my heart.

I rose to kiss her

But the flower fell apart,

Fire glistened

And tore me apart,

'Where does love go?", she said.

I said,

"Wherever you are."

Aglow she lie, limbs soft,

Her eyes almost closed,

Wandering a wilderness of all things wanting

To know.

I caught her in midair

Gathering wildflowers to braid in her hair.
