You came out of your cave, like a wolf in the morning

I was led to the stream, without comfortable warning

I eat from the grass, that you constantly feed me

I know I would, if I could feel less

If something I’ve done, is something I should do

Actual pain, something I wasted

Actual pain, not sure that I’ve felt it

My mind holds out, a slice of my heart

A sign in time, that’s all I can shake off, shake off
