You can always ‘Take It Out on Me’ [‘跟你分擔失落比較快樂’].” Heading into the Year of the Snake, the masterful Cantopop crooner—who released his sophomore album, Inner l Child in 2024—is all about good vibes and seizing the day. His feel-good playlist is a collection of songs he’s enjoyed throughout the year and features Cantopop stars like Panther Chan, MC Cheung Tinfu, and Dear Jane—plus a generous helping of K-pop and five of his own tracks. Hung’s seasonal celebrations are colored with local tradition. “I take a drive up Tai Mo Shan for good luck,” he says, referring to how city-dwellers brave the cold to ring in the new year from Hong Kong’s highest peak.
