Artist Biography
Music runs in Adera’s family. The son of iconic folk artist Ebiet G. Ade, whose music is recognised across generations, Adera has carved his own path to stardom, cultivating his pop-powered brand of softly spoken love songs driven by jazz-influenced vocals. Born in Jakarta in 1986, Adera released his first album in 2011, finding success with the driving guitar-pop of “Lebih Indah”. Singles such as “Muara” and “Serpihan Hati” followed, showcasing a lyrical maturity in his songwriting that shows no sign of relenting.
