Artist Biography
The Indonesian saying, “It starts with the eyes before it hits the heart”, may have been the premise of Jaz’s debut single, “Dari Mata”; indeed, a succession of irresistible, heart-tugging grooves have made the Bandar Seri Begawan-born crooner among the most exciting voices in Indonesian pop. The singer-songwriter’s R&B-driven, jazz-inflected catalogue includes the heartache anthems “Kasmaran” and “Berdua Bersama”, the latter also the theme song for the movie Milly & Mamet.
