Multiple award-winning Zonke Dikana is the creative mastermind behind some of Mzansi’s biggest hits. Her work as a songwriter spans the musical spectrum, including compositions for artists ranging from Tsepo Tshola to Afropop fave Winnie Khumalo. As a collaborator, she’s sung for, and alongside, the likes of spiritual healers like Thandiswa Mazwai and globetrotting exports à la Black Coffee. But it’s as producer that this Port Elizabeth-born, Jozi-based creator remains unacknowledged. Work of Heart, her fourth and arguably biggest body of work thus far, has her life force pumping through it.
