South Central Los Angeles native Zoe Osama plays a natural role in the evolution of gangsta rap with unfiltered rhymes and a vocal technique that often don't ride the beat so much as hammer it. The rapper released his first of several commercial mixtapes in 2019, three years later broke through with "Underrated," and in 2024 issued From the Eastside with Love, an official album boasting appearances from E-40 and Snoop Dogg, and production from Hit-Boy and ZekeBeats.
