Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sucking at recorder in elementary school. I remember sucking at ukulele. All I was ever good for was my voice. One day I picked up the guitar & started loving it. I loved writing so I put my skills together & then it all fell in place.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Green Day, 21st Century Breakdown Green Day, American Idiot Two Door Cinema Club, Tourist History These three albums are all albums I can listen to all the way through with no complaints. They contain some of the best artistic work in the century. American Idiot was also the first album I learned how to play fully on guitar; it's special to me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “When I Fall” I wrote this song after a breakup with my first proper girlfriend. After almost a year together, I had to learn how to love & live again. This song was I needed to help me get back on my feet. The title is from a joke I would make when tripping over.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time I got a paycheck. It was small, humbling, but it was something to be proud of. It was the first time I thought as music as a job, not hobby. After that I started putting so much more effort into practicing. I fell in love with music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to join up with my band for some projects we've been working on. I want to play some nice proper gigs. My dream as an artist would be hearing people sing back the lyrics to my songs while playing a gig.
