Georgia-based rockers the Woggles formed in 1987, blending the sounds of the '60s British Invasion with gritty garage/psych/R&B. Led by wildman “The Professor,” they're renowned for their frenetic stage show, and have generated a loyal cult following both in the U.S. and abroad. The Woggles maintained a constant touring schedule into the 2000s, and continue to release albums that include original tunes squarely in the mold of their '60s influences, interspersed with occasional, carefully chosen covers.
