The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is a post-hardcore and Christian band from Florida. Their 2006 debut album, Don’t You Fake It, was certified Platinum and featured the anti-domestic abuse anthem “Face Down.” And their second record, Lonely Road, climbed to No. 14 on the Billboard 200. The band has had seven No. 1 hits on the Billboard Christian Rock Radio chart, including two singles from their 2014 self-released album, 4. In 2018, they released their uplifting fifth album, The Awakening. After COVID halted the band’s 2020 tour, drummer John Espy and the tour opener Johnny Zirkel teamed up to record an EP about the history of witch burnings under the name The Wildfires Project. Six years after the band’s last LP, they returned in 2024 to release the single “Home Improvement.”
