English bass-and-drums rock duo Royal Blood has earned two UK chart-topping albums and a 2015 BRIT Award win for Best British Group.
∙ Royal Blood’s first two singles—2013’s “Out of the Black” and 2014’s “Little Monster”—were back-to-back No. 1 hits on the UK Rock & Metal Singles chart.
∙ In 2014, their double-Platinum self-titled debut was an international smash, topping the album charts in the US, UK, Ireland, and Scotland.
∙ The band won six honors during the 2015 awards season, including Best New Band and Best Live Band at the NME Awards.
∙ On their 2017 sophomore LP, How Did We Get So Dark?, the band worked with Grammy-nominated producer Tom Dalgety (Pixies, Simple Minds).
∙ As part of the supergroup Live Lounge Allstars, they participated in the 2020 chart-topping cover of Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These,” which raised money COVID-19 pandemic relief.
