Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It wasn't long after I was born that I was taking interest in my father's record collection. I remember distinctly that wielding a guitar was the way I could get closest to getting that feeling agin.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Queens of the Stone Age, Songs For The Deaf UK Version This is as cool as rock music can get. Josh Homme and crew are so unbelievably articulate when it comes to putting you in that gritty headspace.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cuse Song” This song is an homage to the village it took to get me where I am today. I would be nothing without the folks bumping my music with windows down at a red light.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Stepping on stage for NBC's The Voice was never on my bingo card, but I found myself in a moment of pure growth. It was one of the few times I stopped and quite literally thought "oh, I'm GROWING right now."
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My music has reached an audience, so I've already hit success in my mind. Everything else is extra. Oh, and Red Rocks would be nice.
