Winnipeg punks Propagandhi were forged in the cauldron of mid-'80s political hardcore, but their subject matter is always on the cutting edge of current discourse. Picking up where Dead Kennedys left off and Bad Religion intermittently appear, Propagandhi refuse to ignore the world around them, using thrilling, melodic thrash-punk as a platform to bring up issues as varied as vegetarianism and animal rights, capitalism, sexism, and war-mongering.
