About Powers Pleasant
Powers Pleasant is a hip-hop producer, DJ, and drummer from Brooklyn who is associated with the Pro Era collective and supergroup Beast Coast. His chameleonic production style incorporates trap, rock, soul, club music, and other genres. Outside of both groups, he has worked with artists including BTS, Princess Nokia, Sampa the Great, and Denzel Curry (who gave Pleasant his producer tag, "Got the beat by Powers and we just made a banger!"). His debut album, Life Is Beautiful, appeared in 2019, and Life Sucks followed in 2024.
Powers Pleasant has also released music as a member of PRO ERA.
