Beast Coast is a Brooklyn hip-hop supergroup featuring Joey Bada$$’s Pro Era crew, Flatbush Zombies, and The Underachievers.
• Flatbush Zombies and The Underachievers hail from the Flatbush neighborhood Brooklyn, while Pro Era’s members come from Bed-Stuy and Mill Basin.
• Shortly after Beast Coast formed in 2012, Pro Era cofounder Capital Steez committed suicide. He was only 19.
• The three crews came together for a tour in 2013 but returned to focusing on their respective careers in the years that followed.
• Beast Coast finally released their cypher-heavy debut album, Escape From New York, in 2019.
Members of Beast Coast include, or have included, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers, and PRO ERA.
Influenced by Beast CoastBeast Coast has influenced the music of ET of Mortal Mob, BLM, Nostalgia and more.
