Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing Queen's "Death On Two Legs" & being immediately enthralled! As a kid my household usually stuck to music they were comfortable with, so hearing this rollercoaster of an arrangement... along with the CRAZY riffs & runs, my world was changed.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Bowie, Hunky Dory (2015 Remaster) Steely Dan, The Royal Scam Thin Lizzy, Jailbreak Jailbreak's classic riffs & (genuinely) simplistic yet potent writing make this an easy pick (it inspired me so MUCH haha.) The Royal Scam's arrangements... enough said. Hunky Dory. I like to think David found HIS voice here. (i love all of these)
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Found!” I had finished watching Mask (1985) and I was very shaken, I recently was also mourning the loss of a close friend. I literally got up and ran to my friend (still teary eyed) and begged her to watch this movie. Everything in this album is REAL.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing my face on a billboard in Times Square, even as a child I loved to express myself. Seeing everything reach this level, it just blows me away everytime I try to fathom it... forever thankful.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have two things on my list! I want to meet as many of my inspirations as POSSIBLE (I've gotten to meet some.) I also just want to continue to pay homage to my inspirations in my art!
