Polaris is a Sydney, Australia-based metal band best known for combining metalcore aggression with post-rock soundscapes and intensely personal lyrics.
∙ The group was formed in 2012 by Jake Steinhauser and Daniel Furnari, who met at a high school battle of the bands.
∙ The Guilt & the Grief, their self-released 2016 EP, was a minor hit in Australia and landed them a deal with Resist Records.
