Boasting a bold, expansive sound that fuses Arcade Fire's epic rock stylings with hip-hop elements and folky, Dylanesque earthiness, Mondo Cozmo is the performing name of Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Joshua Ostrander. After garnering buzz with his 2017 debut LP, Plastic Soul, Cozmo continued to evolve with albums like 2020's energetic New Medicine and 2022's adventurous This Is for the Barbarians.
