moe. are stalwarts of the American jam band scene who rose from the college bar scene in upstate New York to decades-long national success, carving out a niche for themselves with a blend of Americana that features melodic turns, clever songwriting, and instrumental prowess. In the late '90s, a deal with Sony and inclusion in the Furthur Festival helped the band expand their audience significantly, and they remained staples of the jam band touring circuit for years to come. Throughout the 2000s, a host of live releases and the studio highlight Wormwood came out on moe.'s own Fatboy imprint, and in the front half of the 2010s, they struck a deal with the Sugar Hill label, which released 2014's No Guts, No Glory! The band celebrated 30 years together with 2020's This Is Not, We Are, then followed it five years later with their 14th studio album, Circle of Giants.
