Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember always being fascinated by instruments, and especially the guitar. One of the teachers at primary school had black painted classical guitar standing in the corner of her office, and i always wanted her to play me something
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, 22, A Million Julian Lage, World's Fair Kings of Convenience, Declaration of Dependence All three of these albums have had an enormous impact on my musical inspiration, with great textures, complexities and melodies. Would definitely recommend listening through all three with an open mind. Prepare to be blown away!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Vår” I think Vår gives a good representation of what i am trying to communicate with my compositions. It is a simple melody, accompanied by multiple plucked instruments. Not supposed to take up too much space, leaving room for conversations and life.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So when we performed a couple of my compositions at Idar Eliassen Pedersens bachelor exposition he was told by the examiner (Mathias Eick) that it reminded him of his touring period with Thomas Dybdahl. I almost cried of joy.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is loads of stuff left on my bucket list, and i think most of all i would like to do more collabs with other artists and composers. At the top would probably be to create something with Lido, and have Olafur Arnalds as a feature on an album.
