In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When we began playing together as a trio we made a lot of living room concerts. This feeling when people get close to us has a really powerfull effect on our music. Since then we always try to get the living room-feeling with us on bigger stages.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Polardrømme” This tune has somehow created the new Hvalfugl sound. Steady bass lines, floating dreamy piano and a melodic grid from the guitar. This tune has been one of our favourite tunes since it was made. And it's the opening track on "Øjebelikke Vi Husker".
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at the legendary venue Bremen in Copenhagen with our friends from Who Killed Bambi.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Well, a gig at the biggest festival in Denmark, Roskilde Festival, wound't be that bad. And it would be awesome making a tour in Japan.
