Before launching her solo career, Marcela Gándara sang backup for fellow Mexican Christian artist Jesús Adrián Romero and others on his Vástago Producciones label.
∙ Más Que un Anhelo, her 2006 debut, featured a pair of emotional standouts—“Dame Tus Ojos” and “Supe Que Me Amabas”—that were Billboard Latin Pop Top 40 hits.
∙ The video for “Tú Estas Aquí”—a duet with Romero that appeared on his 2004 album, Te Daré Lo Mejor, before resurfacing on her self-titled 2012 live album—racked up almost 500 million views.
