About Leagues
Artist Biography
Formed in Nashville the early 2010s by singer/songwriter Thad Cockrell and drummer Jeremy Lutito, Leagues make a pulsing brand of indie dance-rock. With Cockrell having a handful of solo and duet albums on his résumé -- some as a straight-up country artist -- and Lutito having toured behind Jars of Clay, their debut album as Leagues, You Belong Here, was released in early 2013 on Bufalotone Records. It went on to appear on the Billboard Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts. After signing with Dualtone, they released the follow-up, Alone Together, in the summer of 2016. ~ Marcy Donelson
