Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being around 7 years old and pushing back the dining room table with my nonna so we could dance along to Louis Prima! Singin' and swingin! This is one of my first memories of falling in love with old jazz and swing records.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chaka Khan, Rufus, Rufusized Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Ella and Louis Classics Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II (Remastered) 3 all-time faves is IMPOSSIBLE. These albums each represent a number of moods in me. Nostalgia, dance as if no-ones watching, shake your hair til your neck hurts, scream, laugh, cry. Each of these albums make me feel ALIVE!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had an amazing summer last year supporting Mavis Staples and Van Morrison weeks apart in Glasgow and Edinburgh!
