Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 11, my parents got me a guitar for Christmas. It was one of those cool box sets that had everything. I loved it, and even though I didn't know how to play when I first got it, I'd still strum away with the amp absolutely cranked.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dwight Yoakam, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. Muscadine Bloodline, Teenage Dixie ZZ Top, Tres Hombres These three albums are favorites of mine because they've really helped shape my sound. Each record has fantastic examples of songwriting, musicianship, and overall vibe that I always try to use as inspiration in my own work.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Six Shootin' Son of a Gun” This song's writing process was a first for me. While dealing with writers block, I decided to write a random story in hopes that it would inspire a song. Sure enough, a few hours later, I had Six Shootin' Son of a Gun written and demoed.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had a fan from Texas come all the way out to California to see a show. They had heard my music, and wanted to hear me in person. For a small artist like myself, it's unbelievable knowing my music resonated with someone enough to travel to see me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A dream that I've always had was to headline my very own tour. Playing shows all across the world sounds like an absolute dream to me, and I hope one day I'll be able to make that dream come true.
