Artist Biography
Paris-based, electro-indie pop duo Jamaica blends the infectious, guitar-driven, melodic sensibilities of Phoenix and Tahiti 80 with the sunny, discotheque leanings of Justice and Hot Chip. Originally formed in the late 2000s by Antoine Hilaire and Flo Lyonnet under the moniker Poney Poney, Jamaica tapped Xavier De Rosnay of Justice and Daft Punk sound engineer Peter Franco to produce their 2010 V2 Records debut, No Problem.
