About Jaguares
Artist Biography
In 1995, Jaguares was formed out of the skeleton of Califanes, a Mexico City rock group. Shortly after the name change, Jaguares took off in popularity, becoming one of Mexico's most loved rock bands. Their first album, El Equilibrio de los Jaguares, released in 1996, built them a solid fan base. Their second release in 1999, a double album called Bajo el Azul de Tu Misterio, enjoyed remarkable commercial success and helped them fill stadium-sized venues in both Mexico and the U.S. An EP, Saul Hernandez Compositor, arrived in 2000. ~ Stacia Proefrock
