Artist Biography
Ideal singer Annette Humpe met singer Adel Tawil in Berlin in 2002 and formed Ich + Ich -- performing melancholy pop songs with beats and occasional rap lyrics -- and released a single, "Geht's Dir Schon Besser?", in 2004. The follow-up singles, "Du Erinnerst Mich an Liebe" and "Dienen," entered the German Top Ten, as did their self-titled full-length. The group topped that with the release of Vom Selben Stern, with its title track peaking at number three in the Top Ten and remaining there for over 20 weeks. The follow-up single, "Stark", entered the charts at number four and then climbed up to number two. ~ Christian Genzel
