In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting at the back of our car when my brother played a song from Incubus Make Yourself cassette. He's a big fan of the band, and it also influenced me, probably the reason why i fell in love with music at the first place.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Death Cab for Cutie, Codes and Keys Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly My Chemical Romance, The Black Parade Many artists have lasting influence in my music over the years, but probably these 3 albums stick out for me the most. These are some of the records that changed how I view music and mostly how I convey themes and stories through my writings.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Untuk Apa / Untuk Apa?” This is one of my finest piece of writing. Even today I can't comprehend how I was able to write it. There are so many layers well put in each sentences and how they interact with each other that makes repeated listening of this song so rewarding.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The exact last sequence of my mixtape's concert. That was the moment I've realized that me and my team has successfully pulled off a solo concert in one of Indonesia's most prestigious concert venue, which is also my dream venue since I was a kid.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've always been able to play the guitar, but not skillful enough to do it while singing and performing in front of an audience. I would like to be able to do that someday. Sometimes small goals like this mean a lot more for me.
