In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember learning to scream in my room after school & learning tones & range. Every day- I'd just get lost in the music- still do honestly. When I got my drivers license, my car became a safe haven and a place I could explore those talents. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
August Burns Red, Leveler (Deluxe Edition)
Crown The Empire, The Fallout
Flyleaf, Flyleaf
These albums were pretty much were released decades a part but they are special in their own way. ABR was the first band I started trying to scream to, The Fallout is emo- I felt that album & the Flyleaf showed me that you can be fierce & have faith. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Withering”
I wrote this song as a way of taking off the mask that I wore for a long time that said "I'm fine". The truth is- I have panic attacks regularly. This is my way of shining a light and hopefully letting others that struggle know they aren't alone. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Performing at Furnace Fest with HolyName was a freaking dream! Belting out such meaningful lyrics on a festival stage while the sun was setting to a huge crowd was unreal. Forever grateful for those guys giving me an opportunity to throw down Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I think the only bucket list I came in with was to take it as far as God would allow it & I think I just want to stick to that. Touring sounds amazing but I never thought I'd have a song of my own! I just want to give HOPE through the lyrics.
