One of the greatest successes in contemporary música mexicana, Grupo Firme was formed in Tijuana in 2014 by Jairo Corrales and brothers Eduin and Jhonny Cazares, starting with a romantic norteño repertoire before embracing the glorious possibilities of banda sinaloense. The band's 2017 debut, Pasado, Presente, Futuro, earned minor buzz, leading to a Colombian tour and a live album that secured an international fan base and future collaborations with reggaetón stars Camilo and Maluma. Grupo Firme's breakthrough came with a string of hit singles, including "Pídeme" and "El Roto," later winning a Latin Grammy for Best Banda Album for 2020’s Nos Divertimos Logrando Lo Imposible. As a consecrated industry powerhouse, Grupo Firme continued its fruitful hit collaborations, including “El Tóxico” with Carin Leon and “EL AMOR DE SU VIDA” alongside Grupo Frontera.
Members of Grupo Firme include, or have included, Abraham Hernández and Jhonny Caz.
