A popular social media personality and vlogger, Erika Costell translated her success online into a successful pop career. Emerging in 2017 as a member of YouTuber Jake Paul's Team 10 collective, Costell achieved almost immediate fame, releasing videos like I Married Jake Paul and garnering millions of views. Born in Bedford, Michigan in 1992, Erika Costell became interested in performing at a young age, and by her teens she was cheerleading and modeling professionally. Later, she attended Middle Tennessee State University, where she graduated with a degree in business administration. After college, she moved to Los Angeles, where she joined YouTube sensation Jake Paul's Team 10 talent incubator and vlogger channel, first as a crew member and later as a star of her own videos. She made her vlogging debut in 2017 in a video where she humorously purported to have married Paul during a trip to Las Vegas.
