Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I won my high school talent show with “Jessie” by Joshua Kadison. First time I’d sung outside my family. Walking off stage, I realized: I hadn’t won because I was great, the song had carried me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 3 Doors Down, Away from the Sun Alter Bridge, Blackbird Morgan Wallen, Dangerous: The Double Album These albums hit different parts of me: the emotion and honesty in Dangerous: The Double Album, the heavy intensity of Blackbird, and the nostalgia of Away from the Sun. I also connect with Morgan Wallen’s rebellious style and raw storytelling.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Better Than Before” The song represents acceptance rather than victory. Better, though not fully healed, simply less heavy than before, with freedom to live honestly.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Walking onstage in front of 16,000 people after singing on "Hurt" with DJ Korsakoff and DayMar. Country/Rock guy on a hardcore stage, strangest detour I've ever taken. Also the moment a dream I'd been quietly carrying finally walked in.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One full show. My own songs. A band behind me that makes every part of the night feel intentional. A crowd that came specifically for it. Last time I stood in front of 16k people, I was singing someone else's track. Next time, I want it to be mine.
