Roots singer/songwriter and guitarist Eric Bibb was at the forefront of the 1990s country-blues revival. The son of folk revivalist Leon Bibb, he began recording in the early '70s, and emigrated to Sweden during the '80s. Bibb released the acclaimed Me to You in 1997 before moving to England, and in 2002, he joined forces with his father on the duet album A Family Affair. Bibb continued to record prolifically in the 21st century, and released high-charting albums such as 2008's Get On Board and 2010's Booker's Guitar. 2017's Migration Blues, 2021's conceptual Dear America and its 2023 companion, Ridin' (the latter received a Grammy nod) followed. In 2024, Bibb returned with Live at the Scala Theater and the studio offering In the Real World.
