Artist Biography
North Carolina-based duo Earthly (Edaan Brook and Brint Hansen) create a form of glitchy experimental electronic music that could only exist in the post-Internet digital age. The duo's playful, fractured songs display a clear appreciation for commercial pop, R&B, and dance music, yet they subvert conventional song structures, creating unpredictable but accessible musical collages. After years of releasing tracks and remixes online, Earthly's debut full-length, Days (the first vinyl release on Birmingham, Alabama-based cassette label Noumenal Loom), was released in 2015 to critical acclaim. ~ Paul Simpson
