Elysia Crampton Chuquimia's music is a surrealist, politically charged mix of jarring samples and influences ranging from traditional Andean music to metal. Originally known as a member of the remix/edit project called E+E, she made her debut as Elysia Crampton with the acclaimed 2015 release American Drift. Collaborations with artists such as Kelela, Rabit, and Chino Amobi followed, and the ambitious ORCORARA 2010, commissioned as the soundtrack to an installation, was released in 2020.
