Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I listened to “Runaway Slave” by Show & AG, I knew I wanted to make music. AG was a huge influence on me as a kid. Glad I got grow up around him.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, Me Against the World Kid Cudi, A Kid Named Cudi Nirvana, MTV Unplugged In New York (Live Acoustic) These albums were all very important at different times in my life. Tupac’s album helped me understand what it meant to be a young black male in America, Kid Cudi could be cool without being a gangster, and Nirvana is just magical.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Letter To My First Born” I chose this song because it was really important to have a song to tell a story to my son when he gets older. I just love how I was able to dig deep and produce a song that’s filled with love for my children.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at festivals, and getting my album featured on Apple Music. That was super exciting. Just watching this whole music thing grow is most exciting.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I really would love to put together an euro tour for my fans. I have such a great following over there and I hope we can perform live over there soon!
