Caliban is a deathcore band from Germany; they've released ten albums, countless EPs, and live offerings. Formed in 1997, they released a 1998 eponymous EP on Lifeforce Records. A hard-working bunch, the band embarked on relentless touring, establishing a road warrior aesthetic that continues into the 21st century. Following 1999's Small Boy and a Grey Heaven, they released a split-CD with Heaven Shall Burn, and Shadow Hearts was released in 2000. The band's reputation spread across Europe and into North and South America with 2004's The Opposite from Within. For 2009's universally acclaimed Say Hello to Tragedy, they signed with Century Media. 2012's I Am Nemesis and 2014's Ghost Empire were received enthusiastically and the band became a mainstage attraction on the festival circuit. 2018's Elements charted in six countries. Caliban issued several singles and EPs over the next couple of years before issuing Utopia in 2022. They released the single "Guilt Trip" in 2024. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
