Bury Tomorrow: Influences
About Bury Tomorrow
Hometown
Hampshire, England
Formed
2006
Genre
Metal
With a sound that merges post-hardcore's plaintiveness with metalcore's punishing heaviness, Bury Tomorrow attack listeners from all fronts with their emotionally charged metal assault. Offsetting layers of pleasant, atmospheric melody with sudden bursts of chugging heaviness, the band uses its breakdowns to create a brooding, moody effect. Emerging in 2007, they topped the charts in their U.K. homeland with the release of 2014's Runes. Subsequent efforts like Black Flame (2018), The Seventh Sun (2023), and Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience (2025) did little to temper the fire, as they delivered massive blasts of melodic metalcore with extreme prejudice.
Members of Bury Tomorrow include, or have included, Kristan Dawson, Jason Cameron, and Jackson, Adam.
